From as early as she can remember, Bev Clark has had two constant passions in her life: horses - with their indomitable spirit and grace - and the need to capture every nuance of that beauty on paper.
Constantly seeking to remain fresh, Clark uses a variety of mediums to express the subtlety of mood and emotions in her art: pencil and conte, acrylics, coloured pencil and gouache. Clark's most recent works have taken a more ethereal, expressionistic turn. And though she has made her reputation as an equine artist, she has never been limited to that. Increasingly, Clark is receiving a large number of commissions to draw and paint other companion animals.
