Hello, my name is Mary Donaldson. I grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri and have spent most of my life in the surrounding areas. I raise Thoroughbreds, so I'm always getting lots of great photos for my artwork.

I have always loved the Equine and have been drawing our great friends for as far back as I can remember. I took 4yrs of Art in High School and have been taking oil classes at the local College for 2yrs now. I also take private lessons from a well known St. Joseph Artist. I am currently a member of the Midwest Artist Association and the Equine Art Guild.

I can't think of a more beautiful or noble creature to draw and paint, so you will be hard pressed to find me doing much of anything else.

I am always inspired by my favorite Artists; Richard Stone Reeves, Fred Stone, Sam Savitt, and hope to someday be as successful as they are.
