This was my first oil painting. I chose to paint Floodie. We have had him since birth (he foaled on a very rainy day at our farm - thus the name). He was my show horse for many a year in the A/O hunters and after that was a field hunter for my husband. He lived until he was 18 and we will both always remember him as a special horse with a wonderful personality.
