Doc, (Doc’s Way To Go Tivio), was one of the stars of the last Equine Art Guild on-line exhibit. He is a 12 year old registered Buckskin Quarterhorse with a neglected and somewhat abusive history. He is an absolutely gorgeous horse from very impressive bloodlines. Unfortunately, the lack of care and poor training he got as a youngster made him nearly unusable. What is wonderful about this animal is his sweetness and forgiving nature. He is happy to be groomed or ridden in the ring or on easy trail rides. Attention is all he asks and I am glad to give it. He is often a friend and a muse, as in this shot called Hilltop, that is one of a series of “Equine Landscape” work that I have done.
