The beauty and grace of Arabians always inspire me, and this painting was a challenge as I wanted to capture the soul and spirit of this beautiful animal. This horse was 24 years old when I painted him and still showed that fire and majesty he must have possessed as a young horse. He died several months later so I was glad that I had the opportunity to do this painting.
