I had been having a very tough day, and left to go for a drive one night at around 8pm. It was dark, and freezing cold, and I found myself out at the farm where I board Hummer. He was waiting for me at the fence when I got there and I brought him into the barn. I just brushed him in the aisle, and as I talked to him, I started thinking: No matter how tough life is sometimes, he is the one who makes my heart melt, my tears dry up, and brings a smile to my face. It's funny how horses can work these little miracles for us.
