What it Means to You
Who We Are
The EAG is a volunteer-run group run by equine artists for equine artists. We encourage all levels of artists to join. It is a place where we can pool together our resources and knowledge to help promote ourselves and our art form as well provide encouragement and support for new artists. Members are encouraged to form chapters in their areas and to contribute news and articles to our online forum, as well as help organize EAG activities.
We are currently consisted of about 250 artists from around Canada and the US, and overseas.

Our email discussion list:
We have an active private email discussion list for all interested EAG members. This list has proven to be an invaluable resource for all artists to keep in touch with one another in between newsletters, and to have a ready resource whenever they need information about some aspect of our chosen art genre.
Group Advertising:
All EAG members are entitled to participate in our discounted group advertising rates with magazines such as Horses in Art and Wildlife Art.
Member Profiles:
All members are entitled to a free member profile on our website. A profile consists of 2-3 images of your choosing along with a bio/write up and contact info about the artist. All Member Profiles are created as time permits. See a sample member page here: Sample Free Member Page
Website Linking:
All members who have a website will be linked on all of our category pages according o the types of art they have available.
Webhosting: (optional - additional $25/yr)
As an additional service provided by the EAG, members who have need of it may also choose to host (publish) their existing websites with us for a minimal additional annual fee of $25. This is a savings over most hosting companies. This includes:
- 25 megabytes of webspace (enough room for about 45-50 images, 20-25 pages)
- Email address of yourname@equineartists.com (Full POP3 email account)
- Website address of www.equineartists.com/yourname
- Supports for PHP, SQL, CGI, Java, Flash
- Domain names available as well (www.yourname.com)
This webhosting service is for publishing an already designed website to the web through our website. It does NOT include the design of your website if you do not already have one made. Web Design services are offered at very reasonable rates, and we can refer to you reputable designers if you have need of this. Inquire with us for a price to design that special site to suit your online art presence.
Special Privileges:
Members can participate in EAG workshops and shows as they come about. We also have an active private email listserve dedicated to discussion on topics of interest to the equine artist - an invaluable source of support, ideas, and fellowship.
