Equestrian Artist Roger Bain
Roger is a landscape, wildlife and equine artist residing in Lexington, KY., the Horse Capital of the World. He paints, using acrylics and mixed water media, in a realism style.
Since retiring in 1998, from the insurance regulatory field as a Certified Fraud Examiner, he has pursued his interest in painting with more diligence and dedication. He currently is a member of The Lexington Art League, and is a supporting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.
He has participated in private shows and exhibits such as Art and Wildlife in KY, The Lexington Art League, The Audubon Society, The Ward Foundation-American Museum of Wildfowl Art, several Federal and State Duck Stamp competitions, and Waterfowl Expositions. Several awards have been received for his paintings. Roger had a solo exhibit at the Central Gallery, Lexington during August and September, 2003.
Collectors in many states and in Scotland have purchased his paintings. He is currently represented by the Collectors Gallery in Lexington,Ky. ;Leroy Galleries in Frankfort, Ky.; and The Vennel Gallery in Kelso, Scotland.
