New Trophy Line

2005 has seen the successful creation of my first line of trophies for Winnemucca Mule Races, Show, and Draft Horse Challenge. Creating busts of a mule, donkey, and draft horse for their exclusive use was a great pleasure and honor. I can create busts, reliefs, or fully realized designs for your trophy needs as well as having existing bronzes mounted on trophy bases if they fit your organization’s needs.

Commissioning a Trophy

Thank you for your interest in having me create a trophy for your event. Just as in a commissioned portrait, the design possibilities are endless. A trophy can be anything from a fully realized sculpture such as “Portrait of Pyramide” mounted on a multi-level trophy base as an annual award with multiple brass plates for each year’s winner to a simple relief mounted on a wooden plaque or made to hang from a ribbon as a medal. Busts can be created for any breed and mounted directly on a wooden base or sculpted contiguous with the base. Unique trophies can be commissioned with their design reserved for the group that commissions them, or they can be ordered from existing designs. Trophy designs cast in bronze will be more expensive than those cast in resin, but a bronze patina can be applied to resin for the classic bronze appearance if lighter weight is desired.

Complex, unique trophy commissions are priced just as regular commissions, but there is a price break on the individual trophies for multiple year orders. Simpler designs are priced individually, and the price agreed to for bulk purchases will continue to be honored for the period that the foundry will honor them.

Bronze Commissions require the following Non-Refundable Payments:

• Down Payment, 1/4 down
• 1/4 upon approval of design
• 1/4 upon approval of completed clay and shipment to foundry
• 1/4 + shipping before order is shipped from foundry

Orders from existing designs require the following Non-Refundable Payments:

• Down Payment, ½ Balance + shipping due before order is shipped from foundry
